I am Mother to two hilarious little boys, wife to an equally hilarious husband, and an entrepreneur at heart. I grew up in Kimberley BC, but feel that pieces of myself have been left behind somewhere in the Yukon and on the Isle of Skye.

Travel is a huge part of my life, and I am always planning my next adventure. Usually to somewhere cold, windy and hopefully isolated. I have been to 24 countries since I was 19, and consider these travels my university degree.

My home is my haven, and smells like fresh coffee, lavender, a wet golden retriever, kimchi and likely nag champa, because I am always nostalgic for the scent of the tiny back alleys of India.

My love for photography goes way back to polaroids and my Mom’s old camcorder. It is the raw emotion, the in-between moments, and the beauty of nature and relationships that draws me to this work. I lost my own Mother to cancer when I was 18, and I truly believe that it was this loss that today deeply shapes my style of photography and my desire to freeze moments, people and love in time.

I feel immensely grateful to have this as my career, the fact that people trust me to capture their most important moments is seriously humbling.

My mission wth each photo session is to be your calm and supportive cheerleader, dressed in a ninja suit (in reality it will likely be a linen romper.)
